The instrument is designed according to the temperature rise curve specified in the ASTM 92 “Test Methods for Flash Point and Fire Point of Petroleum Products (Cleveland Open Cup Methods). It uses a microcontroller to control the heating furnace to heat the sample and displays the sample temperature and the preset flash point temperature. It automatically controls the gas circuit system to open the gas valve, ignite (gas ignition or electric ignition), and sweep among other actions according to the standards. When the flash point occurs, it automatically locks and displays this instantaneous temperature and provides an audio prompt. At the same time, it controls the air cooling system to cool down the heater.
